today during an incubation, i looked out my lab’s window on the 9th floor of our new building.
i could see the first year students having lunch in the courtyard across the street. the program feeds them for the first week as a welcome to grad school thing.

i generally eat pretty healthy. i avoid fried foods (which, in the south, has to be an olympic sport like the hurdles), i haven’t had caffine in 2 months, i don’t drink a lot of carbination, and generally i don’t eat fast food because its greasy and doesn’t taste good and i am cheap.
