anna kate celebrated her first halloween dressing up as a penguin. she was fantastic! we went to a party with my lab and then we took our almost 8 month old daughter trick or treating. she won’t remember it, but, it is her first halloween and we had to do it up right!

about three years ago, we adopted a small puppy from the local humane society. one year later, she was huge! our english pointer/ who-knows-what mix that was not suppose to get bigger than 30 lbs suddenly weighed 50lbs! when we got pregnant, we were concerned about how the baby and the doggie would get along. on the 11th, the cousins stopped by for play time with the smallest, but cutest member of the family. we all went out to dinner. princess here ordered the crackers! ;o)

gerber graduates has munchy cereals for infants. anna kate in particular likes the puffs and wagon wheels. the wagon wheels are easier for her to grab, but we haven’t yet learned the concept of “small bites”.

The church we went to last Sunday had a 25th Anniversary celebration. There were lots of activties for the kids, including pony rides. Anna Kate sat on the pony but did not care to ride it. She also posed on the hay stacks for a picture!

We took Anna Kate to a halloween festival in Little 5 Points in Atlanta on October 18th. She loved the balloons and the bright colors. She loved the marching bands in the parades!
Because it was warm outside, she didn’t wear her costume, but wore her tutu. Everyone thought she looked great!
