Sarah’s First Hair Cut

Sarah had her first hair cut on Saturday! Oh my! I am actually sad they took so much off. But, I am sure it will be more comfortable for her and it does actually have a shape to it now. She isn’t as fluffy, though.

This is Sarah before the hair cut. See how long those curls are?

Description of Being a Mother to Toddlers

My kitchen table is distressed – by Crayola.

My car is a VW – wagon.

You can eat off my kitchen floor – because sometimes, my kids do.

I have a 5 minute make-up routine – because – otherwise, my toddlers will also be putting on my makeup.

I can color, play memory, make play dough animals, and read Curious George like its no one’s business. I am not sure where that fits on my resume.

Most days, I am on my second outfit before leaving for work – because sticky hands have hugged me. Peanut butter on pants is never professional.

I embrace the question “Why?” at least 25 times a day. And I work for 8 hours of the day.

I understand my 20 month old. Its almost like Americans understanding Chinese.

I can disinfect any surface.

My shoes are not my own.

There are letters on my fridge.

My art-decor of choice is color pencils or crayon drawings.

I have found my kids socks or shoes in the following places : the bathtub, my purse, the dog’s mouth, the toilet.

I have found my kids toothbrush in the following places: the bathtub, my purse, the dog’s mouth, the toilet.
